The Power of One Thought

“I have faith that in every day and in every way, my Universe is taking care of me.” When you begin your day with that thought and you keep that thought throughout your day, you will be amazed how your Universe will respond.

Just a single thought in your mind, without doubt, because doubt is like the rubber that steals your energy away. No doubt. You learn to have no doubts when you are around positive people. If you are around positive people, you pick up their spirit and you lose the fear. Just one thought in the mind continuously. That sort of mental training is important. One thought in the mind- continuously, continuously, continuously.

Why do you need so many thoughts in your day? You know how you can have a household that is cluttered with all kind of things you like to keep but you do not need? And the moment you clean up the house and give away everything that you do not need, see how light it feels? Or the same in an office, when you have all the information around you and you do not need them, you clear them up, you put the things that you do not need away and you deal with only the things you need right away. See what happens. You are more organized and more energised.

It is same with the mind; you do not need so many thoughts. That is inefficiency if you need so many thoughts for all the actions you do every day. Just use the thoughts that are necessary and you will see what happens to you. You become more powerful.

You have plenty of unimportant thoughts in your mind every day. Do you really need all of that? Do you? I doubt it. So, clear up the clutter of the mind, fewer thoughts are better and one thought continuously in the mind when the mind is idle is a good thing. Let us practice keeping one thought in the mind.” Sri Vasudeva

Desire – Vital Motivator

climbing-850471_960_720.jpg

The most important quality that we need to develop when we want to master anything is having a strong desire in our consciousness for what we want to achieve.  That is a powerful motivator.  How strong is your desire to go deeper into meditation?  How strong is your desire to open up your consciousness more?  How strong is your desire to stay more conscious of every level of being in your multidimensionality?  How strong is your desire to master energies at every level?  When your desire becomes very strong you will have one-pointed attention, nothing can distract you, you’ll be able to detach from all the things that are distracting.  So we need to observe our desire to achieve more consciousness, more awareness of the energies that feature in our consciousness and the desire to master those energies.

How do you develop a desire?  By giving attention to it, seeing why you want to develop this desire, seeing it very clearly, and keeping that in your mind on a continuous basis, and associating with those people who have that quality that you want to develop, and feeding the mind the kind of diet of thoughts that will help you to strengthen that desire and detach from everything else that is distracting.

In your every meditation you should have this intense desire to want to become more conscious, to want to become more aware of every energy experience in your consciousness, to be able to see it clearly, and to want to master the energies.  So desire is extremely important. Sri Vasudeva

Relationships are Tools for Spiritual Growth

sparrows-2426763__340.jpgSome of us never look at ourselves. We look only outside and we blame everyone for everything. We create a lot of stress within us and outside, and we do not see how this impacts our wellbeing. We can’t sleep properly; we can’t eat properly. We live with these stresses and at some point they surface in terms of physical illness.
Our relationships, therefore, are really a mirror of our wellbeing. They tell how well we are centred within and how harmoniously we relate. So the goal will be to create harmony in all relationships and to see the meaning and purpose of them. The goal is to use them as tools for spiritual growth, for promoting more harmony within and around. It is for promoting more enlightened living because the goal of life itself is the evolution of the soul. It is the evolution of consciousness. Therefore, look at all your relationships and see whether they meet this. Sri Vasudeva

Steps to Intuitive Learning

Intuition is that ability to open up the space to the Universe communicating with us through so many Beings. The Divine has instruments everywhere. All we need to do is open up the field, and all the information we can ever need and want will come to us. That is intuitive learning.

But it requires tremendous humility of the intellect. Because the tendency in all of us, with the ego, is to think that “we know.” So I love that statement, “He who knows that he knows not, really knows.” Then that is a platform for learning, that is a platform for intuitive awareness. And he who thinks he knows, really has closed the field, knows not.

Orchids-in-their-Natural-Environment-900x581.jpgSo where are you? Are you open in every moment, to every instrument, to learn from an ant, to learn from a fly, to learn from a bird, to learn from human beings who we consider ignorant and uneducated? We can learn from everybody. The moment we begin to respect every being in the Universe, and to realize they can teach us, we have become a true student of life. Open your space to intuitive wisdom, to intuitive learning, and you will realize that information is always available from the Universe.

We are in a time period now, where there is an amazing store of information about spirituality, about consciousness development. Just open your mind, create a genuine desire, and you will see how much information will come towards you. It is in the field!

So be intuitively receptive, and you will be nourished from the information field. Do not embrace poverty in terms of knowledge. There is an ocean of knowledge in the Universe. Open your vessels and you will be filled to your maximum!  Sri Vasudeva

Developing Focused Awareness

As we consider this subject of conditioning this consciousness that we have in the human experience, we need to develop certain life skills for the game of life. Skills that will help us to meet this challenge with courage, determination, confidence and with excitement! When we are well equipped for any challenge, how do we feel?  We feel excited to explore, to manage, to experience and to be on top of things!

Today we look at one of those critical life skills: developing focused awareness. How do I keep my attention on what I am doing with my total being, meeting a situation, with everything that I have; and in doing this, not losing my awareness of the totality, not losing my awareness of the full potential of being?

Digital-Camera-Photo-Taking.jpgMany of us fear that when we narrow the view in the consciousness, we lose the rest. Actually we don’t. We are the rest! We have just narrowed the view with our remarkable ability to zoom. When a camera is zooming, does it lose its ability to get back to the totality in a moment, to full zoom? We trust the camera to move quickly – zoom, zoom, zoom,  getting into the detail, or getting the overview. We have that ability with the consciousness to zoom into detail.

Seeing the whole in the detail

There is magic because when we zoom, we can amplify into microscopic detail. When we come into a situation, we can open it up; we can look clearly; and we can see into the infinite microscopic world. Amazing! Even in the detail, we begin to see the whole.

When I zoom the consciousness, into that amplification; “Wow, I can see infinity in that person! I can grab infinity in this moment! I can look into that flower and I can see a whole Universe!” We begin to see the whole even in the tiniest particle.  If we can look into an atom with the right equipment, wouldn’t we see a whole solar system? Wouldn’t we see the Universe? Do we really lose anything, or do we gain when we narrow the focus?

Fine-tune the focus

When we are in that zoom mode, when we take our focus into anything, don’t we have our full resources at our disposal: the power of the mind; the power of vitality; the power of emotion in the zoom? Can’t we bring all our resources into that point of focus, meeting whatever challenge we have, with the ability to open up the zoom at anytime?

And you know how we can play with the zoom, we bring it to one focus, “Is it good?”  bring it to another focus, then change it to a bigger focus, “Is it better? Let me go back, let me fine-tune, let me find the exact setting.” We human beings have that power in the consciousness: the power of focused awareness; the power of zoom; the power to go into detail and to find our Universe there as well; and, the power to bring all the resources we have into any point of the zoom. If we have that incredible power, shouldn’t we be excited about using it? If you have a phenomenal camera with such amplification and zoom and high quality, wouldn’t you be excited about using it? That is what you have!                          Sri Vasudeva

Exploring the Mind

If I want to create an intention and tap into this energy that I have heard about inside myself, then I need some kind of focus! How strong is my mind in focusing? Can it stay attentive? Hmmm, I have to look at this. I have to look at my attention span!

During my activities there are so many thoughts in the mind! Oh yes, I can worry! I can agonize about the past and worry about tomorrow! I have to understand this mind! And I have to learn how to focus!

What if I don’t have any thoughts in my mind? Can I have no thoughts? What will happen? What can silence do? Can I be silent? Does silence have power? Does it have value? What if I try to be silent? I want to be silent. I am thinking I want to be silent, but thoughts are coming up into my mind! This is not so easy to be silent. I can focus on silence. I can perceive more. I think I can explore this silence. Sri Vasudeva

What is Driving our Purpose?

As we seek to tap into that unlimited power within us we need to be purpose driven. When  we have a meaningful purpose, then it’s easy to drive any desire, any intention in the human experience, so it’s important to have purpose. If we do not have any purpose, then we find that the drive is not there; life is meaningless.

We need to observe what this purpose is all about. If we are finding that there is some purpose that is within us, we need to explore where this purpose is being driven from. Where is it coming from within us? Is it based on survival? Is it based on the pursuit of personal power? Is it based on the pursuit of selfish pleasure? Is it based on trying to accumulate more, so we never have needs, to the extent where we do not care about others as we do this? What is our purpose? If we observe carefully, is that purpose based on being a better person, improving who we are, knowing who we are, and helping our world to be a better place? Sri Vasudeva

Do We Ask for the Greater Things?

I have been humbly blessed to touch a space inside of awesome power, and I realize we all own that space! I gave up a lucrative career to come into a life where there is no salary, only the passion to give and not to receive, simply, because I want humanity to wake up and realize who we are, and the power we have to transform ourselves and transform our world! We are powerful beings! How long are we going to sleep in the darkness of ignorance?

We have a wish-fulfilling tree in our being with the ability to manifest anything that we want! What do we ask for? A house that collapses, a spouse that may leave us, food that never fulfills us completely?  We never ask for the greater things of life: a powerful mind; more wisdom, the ability to bring energies into the space; energies of light, of love, of harmony. Most of us do not ask for that in our prayer every day. Of course, I know some of you do, but how passionately do you do it? Do you use the tools that are just before you?

If life is playing a game with us, can’t we play along? Life has hidden the tools from us, can we find it? Amazing that the tools are right before our eyes, and we do not see it. Life has made the game so easy, but we think it is so complex. In ignorance we go for the little, the perishable, and we never go for the things of real value that can enhance the earthly life and thereafter, the things of real value! Sri Vasudeva

Quarantine the doubters

We need to protect ourselves from the doubters and those who say, “Oh, that’s never a possibility, why are you wasting time with that?” Those who tend to pull us down. We need to say … “Okay” … we need to quarantine them and grow stronger. We need to protect ourselves. Sri Vasudeva

Three Steps to Wisdom

winter-lantern-snow-spruces.jpgJyana yoga, the path of wisdom says there are three steps to wisdom. The first is listen to knowledge that is being imparted to you, that’s called “shravana.”

The second step is to contemplate it, process it using the tools of the intellect, turning it in the mind; that’s called “manana,”

And the third step is nididhyasana, which means that you need to assimilate it. Not just understand it from reflection, but assimilate it.

When do you contemplate? In your spare moments. You have lots of those, don’t you? Contemplate what you have heard, the more you do, the more you are able to absorb them.

Then that knowledge needs to become part of your lifestyle, to influence the way you think, the way you feel, the way you act. They must be completely assimilated in your being and that is nididhyasana.                                                                                                                           Sri Vasudeva
